WHAT PAST MEMBERS ARE SAYING

The FFA has impacted my life in numerous ways, but I feel the most important way was how this organization introduced me to people that helped mold me into the person I am today. Because of this organization, I have formed relationships I never would have imagined. I have a lot to be thankful for, and it’s all because of the FFA."

HOLLY KAY

2016-2017 STATE REPORTER, Natchitoches Central High School FFA Chapter
Though I was honored to help lead my chapter to better ourselves and community, my FFA experience expanded beyond the positions I personally held. Growing up in a family of former FFA members, I always knew the importance of the organization, but it was not until I became a member myself that I discovered the numerous benefits the FFA has to offer. While the stereotypical involvement of plants and animals do play a major role in our chapters, the FFA also teaches the importance of leadership, service, and responsibility, which are all crucial to a successful life. Whether it is for scholarships, job opportunities, or simply the growth of knowledge in agriculture, the Future Farmers or America, now the FFA, is an exceptional organization to join. "

JONAH TRAYLOR

2016-2018 CHAPTER PRESIDENT, Hammond High Magnet School FFA Chapter
Taking that leap into being involved in FFA was one of the smartest and life changing decisions I have made. Besides the newly found confidence and the skills that I picked up along the way, the most valuable thing that I took from my FFA career is love and passion for agriculture. I know now that I want to follow those passions and go into international agriculture as a career."
