About Career Development Events

Our association offers twenty different Career Development Events for FFA members to test their skills in all things agriculture. These CDEs reflect content taught in agriscience classrooms, and students must achieve a high level of proficiency to be successful in their respective events.

About Leadership Development Events

Leadership Development Events are structured very similarly to Career Development Events, but the focus of the events shift more to leadership development for the student. The benefits received from participating in an LDE include public speaking skills, communication strategies, leadership growth, confidence, memorization skills, and teaching strategies.
