  Service

OVERVIEW
Service is an integral component of FFA. Through service projects, members learn cooperation, program development, and project evaluation. Members also earn service hours that count towards their Chapter, State, and American FFA Degrees. Most importantly, service projects give FFA members an opportunity to care for their schools and communities. They learn about selflessness and the individual value of people.

STATE DAY OF SERVICE
During the State FFA Convention, members have the opportunity to perform service in the convention host city. For more information on the State Day of Service, click here.

CHAPTER SERVICE PROJECTS
FFA members across the state participate in many community service projects within their Program of Activities (POA). This page highlights chapter service activities and the impact the FFA has on communities.*
