State Officers

Becoming a Louisiana FFA State Officer is no easy task. Running for State Office requires time, energy, and effort in studying information in the areas of agriculture, the FFA, and in agricultural education. State Officers serve for one year and are elected at our annual Louisiana FFA State Convention. The ten State Officers are selected by a well-rounded Nominating Committee that puts together a series of rounds (modeled after the National Officer Selection Process) that the State Officer Candidates are scored on. These rounds include one-on-one interviews, an extemporaneous speech, a personal interview round, workshop facilitation, and much more.
